Claim Your Spotify For Artist Profile

Once your music is published on Spotify, you can verify and access Spotify for Artists account. If you're verified, you'll get the familiar blue checkmark next to your stage name. You also get access to all kinds of analytical tools to measure and analyze your reach. This way you get a good insight into your fan base.

 

What’s the next step?

 

• Visit Spotify for Artists website (https://artists.spotify.com/claim) to claim your Spotify Artist Profile directly through Spotify. You will come to a screen like this:

• Select "Artist or manager" to continue to claim your profile.
• Next, you need to login with your standard Spotify user account. That can be a free account or your premium.

• Once logged in, you should be presented with this page:

• Click on continue button to move on the next page where you can paste your Spotify Artist URI or you can enter your artist name then Spotify automatically gives you a list, where you can find your artist’s profile. 
• Select the artist name you wish to claim, and you will be taken to the next screen.

• Then they will ask you to fill out your billing country under "Team details" (for tax purposes). Just choose the location you live in. And then you fill in your name and role (choose artist). You can leave the company blank (that's for managers, labels, etc).

• Finally, you will get a screen asking for you to connect one of your artist's Instagram account to verify you identity.

• If you don't have access to the Instagram account, or if the account is inactive or recently created, you can also give them links to more of your websites. Any of the following will work:

• A link to an official artist website that includes the email address you’re using to claim your Spotify artist profile (the business email you added)

• A link to a social media channel that shows the email address you’re using to claim your Spotify artist profile. The most helpful links are to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, SoundCloud, MySpace, or Bandcamp.

• After that, the verification request is done!

• Be patient while Spotify verifies, this may take 1-2 days. Once verification is done, you’ll get notified by email & blue tick appears next by your artist name.
